Writing and swimming.

I have written so much texts in my first 50 years, but never having in mind the idea of myself being a real, professional writer.

Now I have this idea of becoming a dedicated novelist for the second half of my life. I know it's not a very original plan, but who knows. Anyway I am studying hard the subject of writing and so preparing the way, God willing.

The biggest obstacle to become a writer is the fact that one is already a writer.

Can a fish dream to (or actually) become a fish? Of course, not. No one can become what one already is...

The fish may want to become a better fish, sure: smarter, bigger, wiser, more conscious of being a fish, a natural born swimmer.

So the proposal to myself - and for whoever has the dream to become a writer - is to just write more and better. And more, and better.

Swim, fish, swim!

Nowadays, Good Writing is even more paramount, as the modern world we live in (and want to conquer) is based on crude TEXT.
